How Psychology Will Help me in the Marketing and Business World.

Along with my major in Marketing, I'm also working on a minor in Psychology. Psychology is basically the study of the mind and how and why people behave the way they do, so combining that with marketing and business will allow me to market products better. Psychology and consumer behavior go hand-in-hand, however by taking multiple psych classes, it will give me an upper hand in reading people and learning how they buy and when. Psychology will also help me when trying to design packaging, and figure out where to place different products so the buyer's mind recognizes it, and select it. I am very excited to further my education in both Marketing and Psychology.
